Business terms

Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of QAVetted by business customers. QAVetted is a product operated by Om Testing Academy, an Indian sole proprietorship ("QAVetted", "we", "us").

The platform is currently in private preview and is offered for business use only. No payment is collected through this public website.

1. The service

QAVetted is a hiring-assessment platform for QA engineers, SDETs, and automation engineers. Clients can configure assessments, invite candidates, deliver practical Component Challenges and browser-native MCQ Challenges, and review scores, cited evidence, skill summaries, contextual signals, AI-assisted narratives, and hiring recommendations. The client remains responsible for every hiring decision.

2. Private-preview access and accounts

Access is currently invitation-based. We may approve, limit, postpone, or decline a private-preview request. An approved organisation is responsible for its authorised users, the confidentiality of credentials, and activity under its account. Suspected unauthorised access must be reported promptly to support@qavetted.com.

A feature described on the public website may still be undergoing reliability or release testing. A client's written preview agreement or order identifies the capabilities made available to that client.

3. Trial, pricing, and payment

When offered, a new approved account may receive a seven-day trial without a payment card. Any paid order or checkout displays the plan, currency, price, billing interval, included evaluation usage, overage terms, and activation timing before the client pays. Payments and subscription billing are processed by Stripe; QAVetted does not store complete card numbers.

Usage beyond a plan's included allowance may be billed as metered overage only when the accepted order or checkout states that arrangement. We do not charge a prospect merely for contacting us or discussing a private preview.

4. Cancellation Policy

A client may cancel at any time. Cancellation prevents the next renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. The process, acknowledgement timing, and effect on access are stated in the Cancellation Policy.

5. Refund Policy

Amounts already paid are generally non-refundable after service access has been provisioned. Duplicate or incorrect charges, failure to provision purchased access, a renewal after a timely cancellation, remedies stated in an order, and mandatory-law cases may qualify. Eligibility, request instructions, and processing timelines are stated in the Refund Policy.

6. Digital delivery and shipping

QAVetted is delivered electronically and has no physical goods, shipping, or physical returns. The Digital Service Delivery Policy explains provisioning and what to do if purchased access is not delivered.

7. Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

  • the roles, assessments, and candidates it chooses;
  • having a lawful basis to invite, assess, and monitor candidates and giving any notices its own obligations require;
  • reviewing assessment evidence and making every shortlist, rejection, and hiring decision;
  • keeping challenge content and candidate access links confidential; and
  • using the service in accordance with employment, equality, data-protection, and other laws applicable to its hiring process.

8. Candidate data and data protection

For candidate assessment data, the hiring organisation ordinarily decides why and how the data is used and acts as controller; QAVetted processes that data to deliver the requested assessment service. For QAVetted's own prospect, account, support, and billing data, the operator acts as controller. The Privacy Notice describes these roles, providers, retention, rights, and security practices.

Before processing candidate data for a paid client, the applicable order and data-processing terms must be accepted.

9. Acceptable use

A user must not use QAVetted unlawfully; probe, attack, disrupt, or bypass the platform; scrape or bulk-extract content; publish or resell challenge material; misrepresent an assessment result; upload malware or another person's confidential material without authority; or use QAVetted output as the sole automatic basis for a hiring or rejection decision.

10. Intellectual property

QAVetted's software, assessment framework, challenge catalogue, and brand remain the property of the operator or its licensors. Client assessment configurations and candidate submissions remain the property of their respective owners, subject to the limited rights required to host, process, evaluate, secure, and support the service. Candidate or client personal data is not used to train general-purpose AI models.

11. Service standard and disclaimers

We aim to provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Assessment evidence supports professional judgment; it does not guarantee that a candidate will perform successfully in a role. AI-assisted narratives and integrity signals may be incomplete or mistaken and require human review. Private-preview access may change as the platform is tested and refined.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that limit, QAVetted is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or a client's hiring outcome. For a paid service, total liability arising from the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount the client paid for that service during the same period, unless the applicable order states otherwise.

13. Suspension, termination, and account closure

A client may request account closure by emailing support@qavetted.com. We verify the request before deleting the account and associated data under the Privacy Notice and applicable order. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, unlawful use, or non-payment, with notice where reasonably practicable.

14. Changes

We may update these terms as the private preview and service evolve. The effective date changes when the terms change. Material changes affecting an existing client are communicated before they take effect where reasonably practicable.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with jurisdiction over the operator's registered place of business in India have jurisdiction, unless a written client order states another lawful forum.
